The City of Paris Department Store Christmas Tree
The City of Paris Department Store (San Francisco) put up that huge fir tree every year starting in 1909. The store was located where the current Nieman-Marcus store is today. Take a look at the stained glass ceiling that was saved and installed in the new building… but based on images I’ve seen, the original was magnificent!
